Careers

The Leader of Vocational Education also facilitates Careers Education for all students at the college.

 

The Careers Advisor manages the TAFE delivered Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses, career events, newsletters, a program of guest speakers and career information sessions delivered throughout the year. Students are also able to apply for an Australian Tax File Number through the Careers Advisor.

The Careers Advisor is available to assist students in the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes that will assist themto make informed decisions about their study and /or work options and enable effective participation in working life. Students have the opportunity to learn about the world of work, its changing nature, the general expectations of employers, and the demands of the workplace and further education.
