Fundraising for Jump Rope For HeartJR4H6

The Heart Foundation Jump Rope For Heart program is an important part of the fight against heart disease, Australia’s single biggest killer. The funds raised by the students at St Joseph’s this year will help support life saving research and health programs to improve the heart health of all Australians.  In term 2 Year 7 students learnt lots of new skipping skills and found out how to look after their hearts.

Students from years 7  to 10 participated in the fundraising program for The Heart Foundation. The total raised in 2014 was $4,776.10. St Joseph’s has now raised $51,854.90 for the Heart Foundation. Our highest fundraiser this year was Daisy C with a total of $490.00 - an amazing effort! Congratulations Daisy! The class challenge was won by 7.3 with a total of $1139.00 another fantastic effort!  Year 7 are the major supporters of this program and together they raised $4,012.20.

Thank you to all members of the community who have helped St Joseph’s with their fundraising for the Heart Foundation. Thankyou to the students for caring so much about others.
