Indigenous Students

Krystyna Williams is the Aboriginal Education Worker (AEW) at St Joseph’s.

Krystyna is working 2 days per week at St Joseph’s providing support and assistance to Aboriginal students, their parents/guardians, teachers, the school and the community. AEWs fulfil this role through their knowledge, understanding and the sharing of local Aboriginal history, language and culture.

The main purpose of the role is to help Aboriginal students with their schooling in partnership with the classroom teacher, liaise with parents and community, provide support and advice to principals, teachers and others, as well as participate in the administration of the school.
