St Joseph’s Catholic College provides a safe, caring and supportive environment in which each student is shaped by her relationship with Jesus in the Catholic tradition and is inspired by St Mary of the Cross MacKillop to make a difference in the world.
Introduction
The importance of learning can never be underestimated. Learning is for life and has as its foundation key 21st century learning skills that include critical and creative thinking, problem solving, working collaboratively and working independently. To assist this learning staff and students utilise and apply contemporary information and communication technologies.
Each learning area will focus on answering these four questions:
- What learning matters for these students at this time?
- How best can I teach this to these students at this time?
- What do I need to learn to teach it better?
- How will I know that I have caused engagement and success with learning that matters?
“Learning at St Joseph’s is focussed on achieving personal excellence”
