Recently our Year 11 Economics students had fun simulating opportunity cost. Each student became a worker within an economy producing either star jumps or ‘I love Economics’ emails. Students had great fun determining the real cost of deciding what to produce. Students were amazed to discover that every decision we make comes with an opportunity cost.
One of the most exciting things to happen with our college and St Edward's College, East Gosford is some shared senior subjects. Year 12 Business Services student Dean enjoyed a week of work placement at The Skill Engineer last week. Congratulations Dean on representing both our schools with impressive feedback. You have a bright future ahead.
Year 10 Drama students ventured to Sydney yesterday to view the high energy show ‘Fangirls’ at the Seymour Centre. The excitement and privilege of attending the theatre was not lost on our students. They enjoyed the experience of live performance and left feeling empowered by this uplifting show that celebrates the lives of teenage girls.
