If you have any queries in regard to the Enrolment Process please do not hesitate to contact the College Enrolment Registrar on (02) 4324 4022.
Process and Procedures
1. Complete the Enrolment Online Enquiry form
If you are thinking about enrolling your daughter at St Joseph’s, please complete this online enquiry form, and we will contact you with information regarding the next steps
2. Completing and Submitting your Application
Application forms can be downloaded from the Enrolment Form tab, these should be completed in detail.
Together with your application please enclose the completed Student Enrolment Questionnaire, a copy of your daughter’s latest academic report and copy of their latest NAPLAN results. We also require a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate (and to sight the original at the time of interview), copies of holy sacrament certificates (where these have been made) and a copy of your child’s immunisation record.
3. Enrolment Interview
Following submission of your application the Enrolment Registrar will be in touch with you to advise on the next stage of the enrolment process.
The Principal will review applications and where places are available in the year group he will nominate those to come in for an enrolment interview. An interview appointment will be made where you attend with your daughter and meet the Principal or another member of the college leadership team. These interviews are for approximately 30 minutes and as well as giving us a chance to meet you, they provide a great opportunity for you and your daughter to ask any questions you may have about the college, curriculum, pastoral support etc.
Offers of enrolment are made by the Principal following a successful interview, but not necessarily at the time of interview, in some cases you may be called a day or two following the interview. We will advise you early in the process where the year group is at capacity and applications are being waitlisted only.
4. Offer of Enrolment
Offers of enrolment will be confirmed in writing and further arrangements will be made to progress through to commencement date. This will include uniform fittings and meeting with the Year Leader who will play a key pastoral role in the wellbeing of your daughter while she is at the college.
